May 13

Dear Family,
Well I just talked with you last night so I may be a bit brief withthe e-mail. First off that's crazy that I might be missing the next  family 2 weddings coming up... How exciting. It was so great speaking to you over the phone. But like I said things are going great in the area. In the zone and in the mission. Brownsville is the place to be right now!!! And you can tell Glen to just talk with my president about the whole meal thing but I won't be worrying about it. If president says it's ok then i'll be ok with it.
But my companion's name is Cody Livingston and he's from Flagstaff Arizona. And he's doing great he's a hard worker we're getting along really well and working a lot of great miracles. M received her answer of the restoration and we asked her the baptismal interview questions on Joseph Smith, BoM, and The church being restored and she said all 3 we're true. So right now we will only need to teach a few commandment lessons and then wait for the divorce process for her friend A. But if not we'll probably be inviting her to spend the nights at her trailor. How crazy it is looking at the situation outside of a members perspective to see two 20 year old boys telling two 70year olds to get things figured out. What they don't realize is that invitation is not from two twenty year olds.
Also the M's had a great time at church. The 16 year old son has good friends at church so we've already won half the battle we will just need to work on getting the dad a little bit more friends gett them baptized and start working on the wife that's from England. Now's my chance to get that british accent I've been yearning for for my entire life so I gotta start working on it.
But things have been going great I've been working my repentance process on my journal i've fallen into bad habits and not keeping it up to date as well as I should. Also I need to work on getting more pictures but to tell you the truth it's not to big of a desire for me right now. I was thinking about it during the call and really it is such a blessing and also very stressful to not have a care in the world other then whether or not our investigators keep there committments or finding more investigators. It
s so awesome to be able to just leave everything else behind and we occasionaly get those questions from people we talk to. Well is it hard..... And really the answer is no but they never believe us. haha

I love you all a ton i hope everything is going well and mother's day was awesome. Good luck with the playoffs coming up Mais. And Heston it sounds like you lost your little girl voice.... haha all a ton and remember to always keep your studies up and to be active in the gospel.
Les Amo.

May 6

Dear Family,

Well it's gotta be oftly lonely at home for momma bear??? What happened to those days in Nauvoo??? Jk. But sound like everything is great and that everyone is being real proactive. I will be in McAllen this week for some trainings so I should  be there to get my package. I''ll lble overly excited to see that thank you for sending it. Congrats to Elder Stratford and Roundy that's gotta be very very exciting.

But this week has been one of the fastest yet slowest in my entire life. Things have been going really really well we were reffered by a member to a house that we got in contact with and it turned out to be a less active member that has been like our missing link to finding here in the area. He's explained how he wants to spread the gospel and become active again he's in his 70's but he's got a ton of heart i love the guy a ton. We've actually been working with his Provider/Future wife to be baptized at the end of may we will just need to get some permision on the situation because they live together for a little while. And the Best part M T the provider has 8 grandchildren and 3 daughters that he also wants to get on board to learn so we our super excited to be working with them. Also she has been to the church in Florida for close to a month and has desires to do her family history already so it'll be awesome to be apart of helping her to be baptized.  She also loved church this week and in gospel principles the teachier even dived into a bit of doctrine for Baptisms for the Dead so she really enjoyed that i'm super stoaked for her we'll just need to work out a few odds and ends and everything should be great. And the best part is it's in spanish!!!

We've also been working with another family we found. We came in contact with the father messing around in his garage and we talked for a bit and then had a lesson and he's super excited to get baptized but he just wants to get his family to have his same desires. He's actually from Tampico Mexico and is married to a woman from England that I ask to read from the scriptures every chance I get because I love hearing her accent and they have a 16 year old son that has some good relations through school to some members so we'll be excited to help them to come to church. They didn't end up coming this week because they were painting a rooom and were busy so we'll have to teach them a bit on the Sabbath Day. But they're awesome and what are the chances that we have to teach someone from england. And also spiced up the mix of teaching techniques becuase she has roots to the Church of Engalnd..... (Glad i was in a.p. European History and know the flaughts of everysingle one of those churches). But this week we've been very very blessed to find the people we have and it's such a blessing to be a missionary I love feeling the spirit as we teach and i wouldn't trade this for anything. I'm grateful for all the support and love and I hope you continue to have a great week in the one to come and i'll be excited to talk with you on your special day. Les Amo mucho.

April 29

Dear Family

Well where do I start with this e-mail!!!!! My new companion  is from Flagstaff Arizona and he knows Camille  my friend that I met on senior trip so we've had some funny stories to break the ice. And he's doing really really well for being so young he's working hard and will have some great spanish here in a bit. We've got along well and we've managed to teach all of our spanish lessons together real well. It's like as soon as I got the reins of being Sr. Comp I could understand everything completely my prayers have been answered. But I can't tell you how hectic this week has been. We've had a lot of investigators with baptismal dates in spanish and we've been having to work on getting them to start acting and reading and coming to church. And our investigator in english just got baptized!!!!!!!! It has been such a quick process A was just super super prepared and got baptized on her 3rd Sunday. She's already mastered the Gospel library app and she has been attending Institute and has been sharing her testimony there with all the other y.s.a members. She's really been loving the church and now we will be focusing our efforts on helping her family also. It has been very stressful getting everything set up for that but hey it was worth every ounce of stress. Haha And a great way to break in a greeny I'd have to say.

Other than that things have been pretty normal it hasn't been too crazy becoming sr. comp. trainer or anything just the normal missionary life just a little bit more on my plate. Mountains to climb as president Eyring would say. It's such a blessing to take part in the conversion of others. It's just so crazy to think that this little change in A will affect nations as she continue's to live in righteousness. I like to think of Lehi and his family how they decided to answer the call of the lord and how great his posterity came to be and because through him and his decisions we have the Book of Mormon and the way to make it back to our father in heaven. I'm just super excited to see the things this girl will do her testimony is already super super strong and she's already expressed to us her desires to help us teach others. Brother's and Sisters Mom and Dad. This was a refferal and a change so great that someone made. Please I'd encourage you to help those missionaries in the stake to find people to teach. Nothing can happen as a missionary untill you find. And the best way to find is through the members so please open up your mouths and help the missionaries. And I'll be excited to hear the changes that come to others as you do so. No tienen miedo de el compartir de la verdad. But here's some pictures of the baptism and from the past couple of months.

Things are going well and I'm still living off of my own cooking.  Pero eso es todo que tengan un buena semana.

I love you all
